OMII-BPEL

Summary

OMII-BPEL brings an industrial standard, BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) to scientific workflow modeling and Grid services orchestration. It provides an integrated environment in which to model, execute and monitor scientific workflows that are expressed in BPEL. OMII-BPEL comprises two parts: 'BPEL Designer' is used for process modelling, and 'ActiveBPEL' is used for process execution and monitoring.

Version 3.4.0 is currently available for download.

System Requirements

OMII-BPEL requires, and has been tested with, JDK 1.5.0. Note that other versions of Java, including 1.4.x, are no longer supported.

To install BPEL Designer, Eclipse 3.3.x must be installed. BPEL Designer depends on, and will install, the following Eclipse plugins: EMF 2.3.0, GEF 3.3.0, WTP 2.0RC4. It is recommended that you use a fresh installation of Eclipse for BPEL Designer.
