2009-10-01: Workshop on coordinating FP7 research projects - Pisa, 1 October 2009

The Workshop

The workshop on coordinating FP7 research projects explains how EU collaborative research projects funded under the Framework Programme Seven really work. It covers both the formal basis of the project from contracts to reporting and review, and the practicalities of coordinating a multi-partner, multi-country project. This Workshop is ideal for project coordinators, workpackage leaders and managers responsible for their organisation's participation in the project.

The workshop is organised in collaboration with Trust-IT Srl and under the auspices of the Universita di Pisa - Unita di Progetto M.A.P.P.E. - Monitoraggio di Ateneo per i Progetti di Pisa in Europa.

The Workshop will be led by Paul Drath of Singleimage. Paul has extensive experience of EU research programmes gained over the last seventeen years, as proposal evaluator, project reviewer and participant or coordinator in more than ten EU funded projects. He has lectured on EU research to audiences from every EU Member State and Associated country, and from Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. He is frequently invited to speak at events relating to EU research funding organized by FP7 National Contact Points, associations and foundations, as well as individual universities and institutes.

The workshop takes place in the centre of Pisa in a location within walking distance from the leaning tower and easily accessible from city hotels.

The courses are conducted in English and the price of each course is 480 Euros + VAT (Total = 576 Euros) which includes attendance at the workshop, copy of Workshop materials, lunch and refreshments.
